Our local plein air painting group had the privilege of painting at a fellow artist's waterfront home. The house had a lot of Frank Lloyd Wright vibes and was beautifully landscaped. The light was starting to hit some of the trees in the background and little bits of the house and yard, as well as some light coming from windows. It made a fascinating subject of complex light and shadow shapes. What a gorgeous place. The owner also has a tea house on the grounds for meetings, retreats or other gatherings.
